Biogen to market hypertension drug

Biogen Idec Inc., has reached an agreement with a Swiss biotech company to manufacture a hypertension medication.

Biogen (Nasdaq: BIIB), based in Cambridge, Mass., reached an agreement Thursday with mondoBIOTECH AG, a private firm, to develop, manufacture and commercialize Aviptadil for the treatment of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.
